Notes

A Lighter Option.  To cut back on calories, you can use light dairy products (light Swiss cheese, ligh mayo, light sour cream). The flavor is still delicious!

  2. Susan Pfeifer-PerschApril 2, 2025 at 4:55 pmI did not have sour cream so I used mayo plus yogurt. No lumping. I know sour cream will curdle if too hot. You are to keep stirring to prevent. You cannot do this for this receipe so yogurt with the mayo may be the best way to go.ReplyLil'Luna TeamApril 3, 2025 at 4:24 pmThank you for sharing what you did!! Great option!ReplySheila EnglandApril 6, 2025 at 2:31 pmMaybe place a cooling rack or two in the bottom of your dish, coated with some oil or spray and put the chicken on the racks with the cheese and sauce might help?
  3. AngieMarch 26, 2025 at 10:26 pmThis recipe is delicious with tender chicken and so easy to make. BUT, is everyone’s finished product sitting in a lumpy saucy broth? I considered adding a flour roux but I’m not sure where to add it. I wanted to serve it at a women’s luncheon in April but the presentation is not very attractive. Any thoughts? Thanks!ReplyLil'Luna TeamMarch 31, 2025 at 4:03 pmMine does too. There is definitely sauce at the bottom. You can make it, then transfer it to a platter or something else?? Hope that helps! It is delicious though 🙂Reply
  4. LynnMarch 13, 2025 at 11:55 amDecided to try something new for dinner and found this recipe. I had all the ingredients so put it together for the family. It was soooo good and easy to make. Served it with rice, baked asparagus and a mandarin orange salad. Everyone LOVED it and I will be making it again soon!!!!!Reply
  5. EllenFebruary 18, 2025 at 5:57 pmVery easy dish to prepare. I added a little more garlic, but otherwise followed the recipe. The end result didn’t quite look like your pic. Everything pretty much slid off. Not a pretty presentation, but didn’t stop my family from enjoying every last bite. Wouldn’t mind a tip for keeping the ingredients on the chicken. Thank you again.Reply

  7. DeniseFebruary 3, 2025 at 6:59 pmThis is the best chicken recipe I have ever made. It is delicious! I have been making it a lot since I found it. I like to dip the chicken in the sauce before placing in baking pan and then pour the remaining sauce over the top once the cheese has been placed on the chicken. The chicken turns out even moister doing it that way.Reply
  8. Evonne SiegfriedJanuary 31, 2025 at 7:32 amThis is a great recipe and fairly easy for a beginner cook. I use it all the time now and my family loves it.Reply
  9. Sandra FeltJanuary 20, 2025 at 1:38 pmThis is a new family favorite. I tenderized the breasts, and added thighs to the pan. Also used gouda and pepper jack cheese on some of the pieces. So delicious!Reply
