55th Annual Dana Point Festival of Whales

The Festival of Whales celebrates migrating whales that use Dana Point's headland as a landmark on their journey southward. Festivities include whale watching, a street fair, classic cars on display, and an art show. Back for its second year is the Festival of Whales Carnival, a three-day event at Lantern Bay Park with carnival rides, games, food, live music, and a beer garden. Plus, after a year's hiatus, the Magical Migration Parade returns, with an updated route starting along Dana Harbor Drive, and weaving a path to the Richard Henry Dana Jr. statue. Website
