Splash Pads Near Houston: Southeast
1. Monroe Field Splash Pad

Open Tuesday through Sunday, April 1st through October 31, from 9 am - 8:30 pm.
The special feature of this splash pad in Seabrook is a pirate ship with a wheel that directs a water spray. This splash pad is great for little ones because the entire thing is fenced in, and has plenty of shaded picnic tables.
2. Brookglen Splash Park
3324 Somerton La Porte
Open all week from 9 am - 9 pm.
Located in La Porte, it has plenty of space to run around, and features a rainbow-colored dragon, dumping buckets, and playful animals spraying water from their mouths.
3. Dolphin Lagoon at Clear Lake Park
5001 E NASA Pkwy, Seabrook
Open from the first Saturday in April through the last Saturday in October.
Featuring several dolphin structures spouting water, this spray ground is located near the boat ramps at Clear Lake Park and gives guests an extensive view of the lake. It also has plenty of shaded areas to sit, public restrooms, and outdoor fitness equipment for those wanting to get a workout in while their kids play.
4. Baytown Spray Parks
Prepare to make a day out of a trip to any of the city's six spray parks in Baytown, because barbecue pits, a playground, and plenty of trails make them all a perfect day-cation destination.
Spray Parks in Baytown include Roseland Park, Bergeron Park, McElroy Park, Pelly Park, Central Heights Park, and Jenkins Park.
5. Texas Avenue Park Splash Pad

Open starting in April, all week from 9 am - 9 pm.
This unique splash pad in Webster is a dream for baseball-loving kids. Instead of traditional water features, you’ll find baseballs spraying water and bases to run between, turning the whole space into a playful, interactive diamond that truly feels like a home run.
6. Wright Cuney Recreation Center
718 41st St, Galveston
Open Monday through Friday from 10 am - 7 pm and Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm.
Located in Galveston, the spray park at Wright Cuney Recreation Center features ground-level water jets and overhead dumping buckets for nonstop splashy fun. Beyond the spray area, the recreation center also includes a playground, covered picnic tables, and basketball courts, making it easy to turn your visit into a full afternoon outing.
7. Splash Pad at Menard Park

Open Monday through Friday from 6 am - 7:45 pm and Saturday from 9 am - 4:45 pm.
After a trip to a Galveston beach, you can head on over to the Splash Pad at Menard Park, where kids can get out any extra energy they may have while washing off the unavoidable layer of sand that comes with being on the beach all day.
8. Schreiber Park
3027 81st St, Galveston
An airplane in the middle of the pad is the defining feature of this spray park. Water shoots straight up from the ground, making it a good splash pad for younger kids, since there is no dumping water and very few frills. There's also plenty of parking, as well as places to sit and public restrooms.

9. Aron Ledet Park

Along with a splash pad, this Houston park has pretty shaded trails, a playground and picnic tables. It is covered in shade by nearby trees. Please note that it is not fenced in.
10. Lents Family Park Splash Pad
Open weekends only in May and September and daily from June through August. Open 10 am - 7 pm.
Inside Lents Family Park East in Cypress, the splash pad offers interactive features they can aim and control, and pipe tunnels to run through keep the play going. while the gated setup offers extra peace of mind.
11. May Valley Park Sprayground

This Woodlands park features a splash pad under plenty of shady trees. Kids can run around as buckets of water dump from overhead and ground sprayers splash up and around.

Open March 1 through October 31 from 8 am - 8 pm on days when the pool is closed. When the pool is open, the sprayground is open from 10 am - 8 pm.
Located in The Woodlands near Grogan’s Mill, this splash pad is packed with fun water features kids will love—from ground jets to oversized pipes and overhead sprayers they can run through and control. When the pool is closed, you can access the splash pad through the park-side gates with no admission or pool pass required. When the pool is open, entry is through the pool gates and admission applies: $7 for residents; $10 Monday through Thursday and $14 Friday through Sunday for non-residents.
13. Timarron Park Sprayground
550 North Green Print Circle, The Woodlands,

This splash pad in the Woodlands has a pipe tunnel that looks like a frog, large flowers that spray water, and plenty of space to play. It also has convenient public restrooms, a covered pavilion, a playground, and seats around the splash pad for parents.
14. Zube Park
17560 Roberts Road, Hockley
A bit of a drive into northwest Houston, but absolutely worth it. This beautiful, shaded park features a splash pad that makes it perfect for a fun outing—and on select weekends, kids can even ride the free HALS miniature trains.

15. Nottingham Park Splash Pad

Open May 1 through September 30 from 10 am - 8 pm.
This splash pad in Memorial has water shoots, fill-and-dump buckets, pipe tunnels, and tall sprays. There is also covered seating for parents to enjoy while watching the kids play, and a playground nearby for anyone needing a break from the water.

17. Jaycee Park Splash Pad

The splash pad is open from 10 am - 8 pm (May 1 - Sept. 30)
The Jaycee Park splash pad in Timbergrove is the ideal place for cooling off after taking advantage of all the other park amenities, like a walking trail, basketball and tennis courts, and a playground. The simple pad features timed sprays and colorful butterfly artwork. There are port-o-potties available for guests to use.
18. Settegast Park Splash Pad

This Eado park offers the traditional simplicity of a splash pad with some extra features that make it fun but not overly flashy. Some of the features kids are sure to love include the bell spray column and ground geyser, while parents love the safe rubber pad surface.
19. Tony Marron Park Splash Pad

Closed for Construction through Early 2027. If you're looking for a splash pad that satisfies the kids and gives you sweeping views of both the park itself and downtown, look no further than Tony Marron Park. Guests have access to public restrooms and drinking fountains, as well as a covered pavilion that's perfect for a picnic lunch.

At Emancipation Park in Third Ward, three splash pad areas are located on the property. One is located within the pool area of the park, and the other two are outside of the pool area. Each splash pad area contains water features that have water bubbling from the ground as well as directional sprayers. Fun fact - Emancipation Park is the oldest Park in Houston!
21. Evelyn's Park Splash Pad
Located in Bellaire, the splash pad at Evelyn's Park Conservancy sits between two great play areas—one with a large rope climbing structure and hillside slides, and another with a sand zone and smaller features perfect for younger kids. The splash pad itself features mostly ground sprays and is conveniently set near covered seating. You’ll also find restrooms and a café on-site.
22. Levy Park Splash Pad

Located in Upper Kirby, Levy Park features a fun splash pad right in the center of its enclosed play area, making it easy to keep an eye on kids while they play. The park offers plenty of shade, picnic tables, and public restrooms, along with a playground that includes a rock wall and lots of climbing features. You’ll also find on-site dining options, making it an easy spot to grab a bite and turn your visit into a full outing.
23. Gateway Fountain at Discovery Green

Open daily from 9 am - 7 pm.
Jet streams soar up to 14 feet at this Downtown Houston favorite, making it a hit for kids of all ages. Infants and toddlers are required to wear swim diapers, and water shoes are recommended. The park also offers public restrooms, an excellent playground, and is within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, making it easy to turn your visit into a full day out.
24. Splash Cove at Hermann Park

Get ready for an entire water cyclone experience at the Splash Cove at Hermann Park, featuring water-launching spires. The park boasts an adjacent interactive Bayou play area, which means you get both cooling, splashing fun and an up-close look at the inner workings of water dynamics. 25. Hackberry Park Splash Pad

26. Splash Pad at Constellation Field

Catching a Sugar Land Space Cowboys game? Be sure to pack a swimsuit for the kids. Constellation Field has a splash pad that overlooks the playing field and gives kids a chance to cool off and burn some energy while taking in minor league baseball. The water feature at The Plaza Adjacent to Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land is a great place to cool off this summer. Features that make parents happy include plenty of parking, seating, and restrooms. In the evening, the splash pad turns into a water feature show.
28. Splash Pad at RiverPark
5875 Summit Creek, Sugar Land,
Open from April 15 through October 15 from sunrise until sunset except for Tuesdays, when it opens at noon.
This well-maintained splash pad boasts colorful pipes, suspended fill-and-dump buckets, and ample space to run and play. There are shaded benches surrounding the pad for parents to watch their little ones, and an adjacent park for the kids to play on before or after their water adventures. There are no restrooms at this splash pad, so plan accordingly.
29. Ridgeview Park

Arguably one of the best free splash pads in the Houston area, Ridgeview Park in Missouri City was recently updated and is well worth the drive. The splash pad stands out with actual water slides, plus a shaded playground nearby that makes it easy to spend a full morning or afternoon. With walking trails, picnic pavilions, and plenty of green space, it’s an easy, all-in-one park day.
