1. Ashford Park Splash Pad - Brookhaven

Have a blast standing under the water curtain and trying to dodge the jet sprays at this splash pad located in Brookhaven. Other park amenities include a playground, bathrooms, and rec center.
Insider Tips: The playground next to it is known as "Brookhaven Toy Park," so bring sneakers for kids to utilize the ride-along vehicles before or after the splash pad fun.
2. Center Hill Sprayground — West Atlanta

Kids love this sprayground, where the water erupts from both the ground and bench-like structures. Plus, kids can run through water tunnels!
Insider Tips: Pack a picnic and enjoy the huge 46-acre park, which also includes a playground.
3. D.H. Stanton Splash Pad — Southeast Atlanta

Price: Free
About 1.5 miles south of Zoo Atlanta, this free splash pad sits right in the middle of D.H. Stanton Park. Kids enjoy water cannons and a rainbow tunnel.
Insider Tips: Visit on a weekday since weekends are packed. Bring a bicycle and explore parts of the BeltLine Southside Trail.
4. Fountain of Rings at Centennial Olympic Park - Downtown

Centennial Olympic Park delights visitors with an interactive splash pad in the shape of the Olympic rings. The water show occurs four times daily, featuring music, fog, and 15-foot-high water sprays. The 22-acre park also boasts a playground, green space, visitor center, and amphitheater.
Insider Tips: Public restrooms are located in the visitor center. Use pay parking decks and limited metered street parking, or consider MARTA. For added fun, purchase tickets to nearby SkyView Atlanta.
5. Historic Fourth Ward Park Splash Pad — Old Fourth Ward

Located in Historic Fourth Ward Park, situated just south of Ponce City Market along the Atlanta BeltLine, this splash pad drenches kids of all ages. Afterward, let the kids burn off extra energy on the playground (under a large shade canopy) or at the skatepark.
Insider Tips: Park at 664 Angier Ave. NE to be closest to the splash pad. Public restrooms and water fountains located next to the playground.
6. Lou Glenn Children's Garden Splash Pad at Atlanta Botanical Garden (ABG) - Midtown

After exploring honeybees, gardens, the water painting wall, and the renovated tree house, cool off in the splash pad. The splash pad soaks kids of all ages, while parents sit on benches. The rounded walls on three sides minimize kids wandering off to other areas.

7. Piedmont Park Legacy Fountain - Midtown

Bring kids to the Piedmont Park Legacy Fountain, which sprays up to 30 feet in the air with LED-lighting configurations, and of course, the splash pad. Restrooms and picnic tables are nearby.
Insider Tips: Park at the SAGE parking garage at 1322 Monroe Drive (the first 30 minutes are free, then an hourly rate incurs). While at the park, enjoy playgrounds, athletic fields, and the duck pond. Keep your eyes peeled for the King of Pops cart.
8. Perkerson Park Splash Pad — South Fulton

Just off the Atlanta BeltLine south side, families enjoy Perkerson Park's splash pad from May to October. Water jets shoot up from the ground around a sculpture by Maria Artemis featuring Georgia granite.
Insider Tips: Huge oak trees keep the park shaded. Parking lot near the recreation center. The park features a playground, a disc golf course, tennis courts, and restrooms.
9. Splash Fountain at Zoo Atlanta - Grant Park

Home to exotic animals, a zipline, train, carousel, and playground, Zoo Atlanta is a fun (but hot!) summertime activity. There's no better way to cool off than to let the kids enjoy Splash Fountain with 18 water jets of varying heights and shaded benches for parents.
Insider Tips: Save the splash pad for the end of your visit since kids must be dry to enjoy other zoo attractions. The restrooms nearby offer cubbies to place kids' shoes and other items.

10. Alpharetta City Center Town Green Fountain - Alpharetta

This splash fountain sits next to a large green space in Alpharetta City Center. Kids run across the green then cool off in the fountain, while parents relax on chairs and benches.
Insider Tips: In this mixed-use development, you'll find the Alpharetta City Library and tons of restaurants. Free parking and public restrooms available. The adjacent green space is great for playing.
11. City Green at City Springs - Sandy Springs
1 Galambos Wy, Sandy Springs
Price: Free
City Green, located at Sandy Springs' City Springs, features a splash pad and interactive fountain open for play (and check out that water wall). City Green also hosts festivals, outdoor concerts, and a farmers market.
Insider Tips: Use free two-hour parking in the underground deck. Public restrooms located next to the splash pad. Visit any day, but kids especially love splashing around during the Concerts by the Springs free music series.
12. Duluth Town Green Fountain — Duluth

Kids frolic for hours at this fountain, the centerpiece of Duluth's Town Green. With a massive spout shooting water two stories in the air and smaller, surrounding spouts, the fountain has something for everyone.
Insider Tips: Town Green in Duluth offers plenty of entertainment, including a green space, playground, and outdoor summer movies. Public restrooms are found near the public parking deck.
13. East Roswell Sprayground — Roswell

This splash pad was a favorite when my kids were younger. The City of Roswell used to charge an entry fee but now this awesome sprayground is free. It has all kinds of cool spouts and buckets that make it one of the best water playgrounds in Atlanta.
Insider Tips: Nearby amenities include a covered pavilion, playground, trails, public restrooms, and plenty of parking. Closed on Mondays. (Roswell's other sprayground at Riverside Park is undergoing a major remodel; we're excited for it to reopen in summer 2027.)
14. Lillian Webb Park Splash Pad — Norcross

Price: Free
Cool off at this cool splash pad with shaded pavilions. Adults will appreciate the terraced pools of water cascading down steps in front of the sprayground—kids will most likely be too busy to notice.
Insider Tips: You'll find about three dozen parking spots along College Street and Britt Avenue. Pack a picnic to eat on the expansive green space (public restrooms located nearby) or walk a few short blocks to Historic Downtown Norcross.
15. Plaza Fountain at The Battery—Northwest Atlanta
The Plaza Fountain, also known as the Splash Pad, is located in the center of The Battery Atlanta (next to Truist Park)
Price: Free
Families can head to The Battery Atlanta for a full day of fun, including cooling off at the Plaza Fountain. Located near the green space, this fountain even lights up at night.
Insider Tips: On non-event days, enjoy free two-hour parking in the Red, Green, Yellow, and Purple parking decks. Public restrooms are located near parking decks.
16. River Line Park Splash Pad - Smyrna

Price: $4 adults; $3 kids 16 and under; entry rate is $1 higher at the gate. Summer memberships available.
Just opened in 2026! This new, enclosed splash pad at River Line Park has colorful spray structures and plenty of shade for parents to sit and supervise. We love the soft surface, too.
Insider Tips: Reserve your spot online ahead for one of two splash sessions. Closed Tuesdays. Beat the crowds by choosing an earlier time on a weekday.
17. Sprayground at Elizabeth Porter Park - Marietta

Price: $2 for Cobb County residents; $3 for nonresidents (all ages)
This 7,900-square-foot water area offers brightly-colored sprinklers and jet sprays to cool kids off. Expend more energy on the walking trails and playground.
Insider Tips: Purchase admission online before you visit. Entrance to the splash pad is on a first-come, first-served basis; visit on weekdays when it is usually less crowded.
18. Suwanee's Big Splash — Suwanee
330 Town Center Ave, Suwanee
Price: Free
Suwanee's Big Splash, located in Town Center on Main, is one of Gwinnett's largest interactive fountains. With 43 jets and 1,400 gallons of recycled water per minute, kids can spread out for hours of free fun.
Insider Tips: Town Center on Main also features a cool 1,200-foot bridge along a green space, public restrooms, sand volleyball courts, and parking. Suwanee Circle, featuring food trucks, allows families to stay for dinner.
19. Swift-Cantrell Park Splash Pad - Kennesaw
3140 Old US Highway 41, Kennesaw
Price: $3 for ages 3 and up (credit card only). Free on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.
Kids can romp around this 3,200-square-foot splash pad complete with geysers and other cool water play elements. The splash pad is closed for maintenance on Wednesdays and closed for rentals on Thursdays and Sundays.
Insider Tips: If the kids aren't too exhausted, stop by the Swift-Cantrell playground and skatepark.
20. Thurman Springs Park Splash Pad - Powder Springs
4485 Pineview Dr, Powder Springs

Just a half-mile off the Silver Comet Trail, you'll find this splash pad in the center of Powder Springs. While kids take delight in getting sprayed by the underground jets, parents can enjoy the tables surrounding the green space and the Hardy Family Automotive Family Amphitheater.
Insider Tips: Public restrooms, a climbing structure, and ping-pong tables on site. Parking can be found along the streets.
21. Two Bridges Park Splash Pad - Dunwoody
50 Perimeter Center East, Dunwoody
Price: Free
The new Two Bridges Park features a splash pad, an 8,000 ADA-compliant playground, and walking paths connecting to the multi-use Dunwoody Trailway. Bonus: They recently added shades over the playground and splash pad!
Insider Tips: If the splash pad isn't on, push the button to activate 30 minutes of water fun. Public restrooms and parking are available.
22. Peachtree Corners Town Green Splash Pad - Peachtree Corners
5140 Town Center Blvd, Peachtree Corners
Price: Free
This small splash pad is part of the Peachtree Corners Town Green playground, making it perfect for a summer day of fun. Kids can splash in the water and then head over to the soft-surface playground. We also love the nearby huge shaded pavilion.
Insider Tips: Make plans to have lunch and/or a sweet treat at one of the nearby family-friendly restaurants in Peachtree Corners Town Center or The Forum.
