Paper Plate Love Birds
with Free Template

These love birds are so easy to make and make a great decoration for Valentine's day.

You will need:

2 paper plates

Construction paper

Magic markers

Googly eyes

Craft glue

Scissors

PDF Template (click here to the link)

Take two paper plates and place the curved line (on the template) in the center of the plates and cut the plates along the line. See example below. Color the plate with a magic marker.

For the wings, feet and beaks, you can cut the hearts from the template and trace them on the other half of the paper plates and color them or use construction paper. The large heart is for the wings to glue on top of the bird. The 2 medium hearts are for the feet. Glue the bottom of the hearts to the back of the plate. The small heart is for the beaks. Then add googly eyes. You can add some pretty ribbon to the back of the paper plates to hang as a decoration. Enjoy.
