Paper Plate Hatching Chick

This hatching hick craft is perfect for Easter or a Springtime craft. It's so easy to make and I'v included a free template.

What you'll need:
Paper plate
Yellow paint
Yellow and orange construction paper
White paper
Paintbrush
Scissors
Glue

Start by downloading and printing the template.

First, paint the paper plate yellow. Then, glue the eyes in the middle of the paper plate. Next, cut out the beak with orange paper and glue it on below the eyes.

Then, cut the egg sells out of white paper. Glue the upper egg shell to the top of the chick's head. Then glue the bottom piece on.

Finally, cut the wings out of yellow paper and glue the bottom edges to the sides on the back of the plate.

And there you have it! A cute hatching baby chick!
