My son is pretty excited since it's the time of year to make bug crafts. We started with this easy bee craft made using a paper plate, paint and construction paper.
What you'll need:
1 paper plate
black and white construction paper
yellow paint
glue
First, have your child color or paint the plate yellow. Then, cut 3 strips of black paper and have your child glue them onto the plate. Cut out a circle for the head out of black paper and attach it to the top of the plate. Add 2 googly eyes. Cut 2 small strips of black paper, about 3 inches long and an inch wide and attach them to the back of the top of the head. Cut two 1-inch circles out of the black paper and attach them to the top of the black strips of paper. Cut two white circles for the wings and attach them to the sides of the back of the plate.
