RECIPES DIY PARENTING KIDS CRAFTS HIRING NOW (JOB BOARD)
Homemade cards are some of my kids favorite crafts to make! My kids made a pretty bouquet of hearts card for Valentine’s Day this year and they were so fun to make.
To make these, you will need:
construction paper in various colors
glue
scissors
First, cut out six hearts and 3 green strips of paper for the stems.
Begin by making a square from the construction paper. You could measure this if you’d like and go that route. The easiest way I’ve found is to simply fold one corner up until it makes a triangle. Then trim away the excess paper.
Now unfold the triangle and place in front of you like a diamond.
Fold one side over where it makes a point on the bottom. Then fold the other side, overlapping the first side, meeting at the point on bottom.
Fold the top corners back.
Unfold the front flaps of the paper and glue the stems onto the paper in a fan.
To make a flower, fold 1 heart in half, add glue to 1 half and align it with another heart. Continue with the remaining hearts. Glue the flowers to the top of the stems. You can writ a message on the inside one one of the folds or on the outside. Close the folds and tie some pretty ribbon around the bouquet.
