Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total ime: 30 minutes
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
For sauce
¼ cup honey
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
2-3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 Tablespoon)
For Pork Chops
2-3 Tablespoons olive oil
4 boneless pork chops (3/4-1" thick)
salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon chopped parsley, for garnishing, optional
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic.
In a large skillet, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat, until the oil is hot and shimmering.
Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. When the oil is hot, carefully add them to the skillet and sear them both sides until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes each side. Transfer to a plate; set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the sauce. Use a spatula to scrape up the browned bits on the bottom of the skillet and stir them into the sauce. Continue to simmer the sauce until it's thickens.
Add the pork chops back to the skillet, then flip each piece to fully coat them in the sauce. Place the pork chops on a serving plate and pour the sauce over them. Garnish with parsley, if desired and serve. Enjoy!
