15-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper, to season
4 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. When the butter is melted, add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds or until it becomes aromatic.
Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the shrimp turns pink on the bottom and flip over and cook for another 2 minutes until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through. Turn off the heat. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
