My littlest ones love both making and wearing masks and today I'm going to show you how to create a fun Uncle Sam mask just in time for Memorial Day and the 4th of July.
What you'll need:
a paper plate
red, white and blue construction paper
cotton balls
string
scissors
glue
First, cut out the center of the paper plate. Then glue the cotton balls all around the frame of the plate. Then, cut a few strips of red paper and glue hem onto a white sheet of paper. Cut a 2 inch strip of paper and glue it over the bottom of the white sheet of paper. Cut out 3-4 stars from white paper and glue them onto the blue paper. Add glue to the back of the bottom of the mask and attach it to the paper plate. Add 2 pieces of string to the back of the plate to place around your child's ears. so they can war the mask.
