Honey Soy Chicken

Ingredients
2-1/2 pounds skinless, boneless
chicken thighs
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
5 tablespoons honey
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger chopped
salt and pepper, to season
fresh chopped parsley, for garnish, optional
sesame seeds, for garnish, optional

Directions
In a 9×13-inch casserole dish, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger. Rinse and trim off all of the fat from the chicken. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper and add it to the casserole dish. Toss the chicken making sure all the pieces are coated with the marinade. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and marinate chicken for at least an hour (or overnight if time allows).
    Preheat the oven to 400F.
Remove the plastic wrap and place the dish in the oven and and bake for 35-40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Make sure to flip the chicken twice while baking to ensure the chicken doesn’t dry out on top. 
After, broil chicken on high heat for five minutes or until golden brown. Pour sauce over chicken when serving and garnish with parsley and sesame seeds, if desired<!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->
